pg16 Continuation of spirits at death.

Does spirits die with the body?

When a man dies, exactly what other people see is that the body stops moving and responding.  All can be concluded is that the spirit gave up controlling the body.  There is no reason to claim the spirit is dead simultaneously, because they are different and independent entities, residing in different spaces.  It is like when the driver left his car, the fact that the car is not moving doesn't mean the driver is dead.  The most one can prove is the departure of spirit from the body.  If the spirit happens to die at the same time, it is only coincidental.  Since death is only the departure of the spirit from the body, it should result in regaining the real eyes (and senses) and seeing more clearly.

However, we cannot prove whether spirits reincarnate.

We are gradually getting to the interaction between mind and body now.  That’s the topic we are turning to next.
